Deborah Bloom is a multimedia journalist and part of the award winning international desk at CNN. Her content can satisfy most everyone's interest, she can go from talking about a celebrity in a foreign country in one article, to terrorist attacks in South Sudan and then to the black market selling ivory tusks in the next. The purpose of her articles is to inform readers of all different types of events going on around the world they live in, while also keep them engaged throughout the article. Bloom also tries to stay relevant on all the larger events going on in the world, without uploading very often. Bloom does an amazing job at drawing the viewer into her article by writing extravagant article titles that immediately spark the readers interests. For example, "Somalia's drought: At least 110 die as fear of drought grows". This title immediately lights up some curiosity in the reader, drawing them into a tragic event while keeping them well informed and interested through her diction. It can clearly be seen through Bloom's work that she has a very vibrant presence and tone and is passionate about whatever she chooses to write about.
